It's What Tomorrows For

Pretty basic day this Saturday was over-all. Did not do much other than catch up on a lot of things I have been wanting to do online as well as applications on my iPhone and iPad that have been downloaded for over a week and I had yet to open them and check out the coolness. Kinda strange I know, but when I see something I want it may not be the opportune time to use it, but I know if I don't buy it right then and there I will forget about it. Sure some may say that this simply means that I did not need it in the first place but I disagree.

Cizzle Bells

So Cicely went to a wedding today with her good friend and our co-worker. She is not the bride but the sister of the groom so Cicely is going as her date. She usually does at this persons events. Whether its a wedding, family reunion or what have you. Don't misunderstand, this is not a bad thing or something Cicely does not want to do. She looks forward to it and honestly so do I. I know that it gives her a chance to get out and be around people other than those that we work with, and more importantly so she has some time away from me once in a while.

I only received one text from her so far so that means she must be having a good time and that makes my day. I just wish she could come home to see that I have managed to complete a bunch of the stuff we need to get done for Zoey's room and our office / studio. I planned to do a lot more today just like I have been planning to nearly every weekend and for some reason I grow roots into the couch and do not do a dam thing.

I have been bad about flying my heli's, heck I even have one that is still broken from my last outing that needs to be repaired. I think that was over 6 weeks ago - pretty sad. It's not for lack of wanting to mess with stuff, but more that I have been so drained by the end of the week that I want to just surf, watch TV, read or do things that do not require thinking.

Get Outside Already

So yea I will admit that I had one big plan for today and that was to get my butt outside and give the lawn what will most likely be its last mow for the season. I will leave the sprinklers on for another week or so, I just have to watch the weather really closely so nothing freezes on me. Anyway, as I write this it is starting to get darker outside and my daylight hours are coming to an end.

I may still get my ass out there and take care of it but I need my neighbor to finish up his project first. He has been outside most of the day messing with his irrigation system, I think trying to get it blown out so I don't want to get caught up in conversation or worse interrupt his progress. I am a bit of a hermit anymore and on the weekend I prefer to be alone - kinda weird and sad sounding.

Fluff

With that I am going to take a look out and see if he has managed to get done and see if I can at the very least get the front mowed before I am totally out of daylight. Cicely will most likely be at the wedding reception for several more hours so if I can get a few things done, eat some dinner and feed Oggy then I will be happy. If not it means I have to compress more stuff into tomorrow I guess.

Anyway, I hope your Saturday was a good one. I am trying to enjoy the calm of ours as much as I can. Once baby shows up I think things are going to be quite a bit different on the weekends, after work and in our free time in general. Not in a bad way what-so-ever, more in a different way because we have our daughter that we want to inspire, and have fun with when ever we have the chance to.

It's going to be a huge learning experience and training session for our schedules, but I for one - as I will continue to say, am looking forward to the challenges ahead.
