Concrete & Drainage Day 5

Yep that is correct, Day 5 of the project on the side of the house. Yesterday does not fully count because they were mostly checking thinks out and making some minor adjustments. No real construction of sorts was being done.

Today I think is slated to be the final day and they will come out and remove the forms and so on. I am a little worried that they do not plan to build up the edge so it goes to the fence. If not then that may very well turn into something I will have to take care of using rocks, paver's or something.

There is also one sprinkler head that is right on the cusp of being covered in concrete so I may have to chisel that area out a little bit. Just like normal, projects generally create projects so you have to roll with it and move on. I will just be happy once it's all finished, the concrete is dry and things are back to normal.

Fuzzy Kid

So Oggy has been at Doggy Daycare for the past 2 days and today I think Cicely is going to have to stay home with him. We planned on taking him again but he is not feeling too good at the moment plus he did not really sleep last night.

Oggy does not like to drink out of community dog bowls so he plays and jumps and runs around all day at daycare without drinking a drop of water. By the time we pick him up he is usually pretty dehydrated and tired. He will drink and drink until he is tired of drinking, then come back for more.

Problem is that this backs up his system a bunch so he starts feeling constipated, sore and tired all in one. We worry about his well being of course so we do what ever we can to make him better. Today it was him eating on the couch while I held his bowl and then some watered down apple juice to drink.

He already seems to be feeling a little bit better but is obviously still extremely tired and sore. He just needs a couple of days at home to get back to normal and into his usual day-to-day patterns. Poor little guy! We can't wait until he feels better.
