Saturday Stuff

Up at 4:00 AM for some ungodly reason today! Decided to play a few rounds of Words With Friends, surf the net and check my email until the point that I was tired again and able to crash back out. Around 5:45 AM I crawled back into bed and did in fact crash out until 8:00 AM. So all in all I was able to get a full nights sleep just split up.

Working

Once up I did not want to waste the day so I had a couple cups of coffee after feeding the fuzzy kid then made myself a nice turkey sausage omelette that I if course shared with the fuzzy kid as well. He freaks out when we are cooking breakfast. His nose goes crazy and his excitement peaks - love it!

Anyway I got my butt outside and started cleaning up the messes the guys left while dong the concrete and drainage work last week. Putting paver's back where they belong and getting scattered rock out of the grass.

Next finished up some stuff in the garage that the parts came in for last week so that was cool. Then talked to my buddy Aaron from work for about an hour about helicopters. The punk was lucky enough to meet up with some guys and fly. One of the guys has my all-time favorite helicopter, a Goblin, and he let him fly it. Yea I am pretty jealous but super happy for him to have been able to!

Home Depot

Next it was a trip to Home Depot to get some rock for the side of the house where the concrete does not perfectly match up to the fence. In reality it can't but I was thinking they were planning to build something in that area like curbing or an angled area of concrete. No big deal but it would have been cool if they had left some of the rock they removed - we could have used that! Oh well it's pretty much par for the course when it comes to projects.

Filled up the car on the way so that is done for next week as well now.

Blue Apron

Earlier today we received our second delivery from Blue Apron, our next 3 meals! So fun getting that package every week and really good food too. This week we have a crusted Parmesan chicken meal, a pepper steak meal and a flounder fish meal. We once again can't wait to try them all. They were so good last week. We were totally impressed and had leftovers for lunch from each of the meals the following day too!

Checkout

Ok I think that will have to be the end of this entry. Lots of stuff I still want to attempt to cram into the day and maybe even try to play some bass or fly for a half hour on the helicopter flight simulator if I can stay awake. Worst case we will watch some movies and chill - sounds good to me as well.

Photo: Oggy is feeling much better today! He came to work with us yesterday which is always fun for us as well as him!
