Loungin'

Up and out of bed hella early again today - well hella early for a non-work day anyway. On top of it, Oggy let me sleep-in so I can't blame him this time. Really makes no sense seeing how I was not in bed until1:30 AM.

I think my late afternoon margarita mixed in with the food Cicely brought me and the cool calmness of the house threw me into the late afternoon nap. Only lasted about an hour but long enough to allow me to stay up and watch 2 more episodes of Battlestar Galactica and then surf the net for a while looking up RC helicopter information as usual.

Helicoptering

I am happy to report that I flew for a couple hours yesterday on the Phoenix simulator and plan to get in a few more flights today.

I still need to do some additional work in the garage to get a couple racks put up for the snowboards and crap like that but overall the project is finally winding down a bunch. At some point I will need to put the flooring in though, just have to wait and see how the bank account is looking in another month or so.

I have all of the repair parts for the 130x as well as the upgrades all sitting on the workbench so that is a priority to get done also. I ordered a few things to set up the new 450L once it gets here so I need to get moving on the other heli's so it does not take the back burner for too long. I still need to get a lot of stuff for it as it is. Mostly electronics, a new charger (looking at this cool one that will charge 4 6S at once!!), some 6S batteries and things I am not even thinking of I am sure will come up.

Safe / Vault

So real fast I wanted to mention that I was finally able to get my firearm safe / vault a couple days ago. I ordered it through a local company and it should be delivered in about a week and a half. Nothing quite like laying down $4,000 on a metal "box" but in reality it is way more than that of course.

I ended up going with an American Security brand rather than the Fort Knox that I originally had spec'd out. It saved me just over $1600 by going that route and the safes are basically identical. The American Security I bought actually has a few additional features that would have either cost addition on the Fort Knox or were not even available.

All-in-all I am stoked with the purchase and think that it's going to fit my needs perfectly. Plus it will add additional security until our "little one" understands the proper handling of firearms and safety when around them.

Lunch

Well about time to wrap up this entry. Hey at least I was able to get it done before midnight this time. That was crazy yesterday that I nearly forgot!

Anyway we are heading back downtown Reno to go toCampo; the place that Cicely had with Amanda at yesterday. Yea it was that good that we are going back for more $14 burgers. Don't  e jealous, skip out on a couple fast food lunches or dinners and treat yourself to one next time you are in the area - you will be glad that you did!

**Update: We had to leave Campo and find another place to eat because they do not offer the full menu selection after 2:30 - lame! The late lunch menu pretty much sucks donkey dicks unless you are looking for a tiny high priced snack like grilled cauliflower, olives etc. No thanks, I need some lunch not a dainty snack,

In my opinion that is one of the problems restaurants have when they have too large of a menu. It is what it is though so off to see if we can get a seat and some food at The Brewers Cabinet over off of California Ave. just outside the south side of downtown Reno.

Let's eat!!!!

Photo: Brewers Cabinet menu. Lunch was great - we both had big burgers and tater tots, Mmmm!
