Harvest Time
The latest predictions so far are that they plan to get rid of the classic iPod which is sort of a bummer if it is true. I have owned several of the original iPods but stopped buying them once they went to the touch versions. One because of the small amount of memory and second because of the cost for the lack of memory.
They are also announcing the new iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C which is rumored to be a plastic version. I guess we will see what they actually show off. Last there is speculation of a new iPad as well. Not sure if it would be a mini or full version. If it was the mini version and with a retina display I would probably get on.
The tech forums all say that there will be a brand new device - a watch. Kinda stupid when I first heard about it but the more I think of many of the possibilities it actually has some potential to solve a lot of things or make things simpler or safer for current smart phone users.
Cotton Candy
One last thing I wanted to mention is that last night we stopped at Raley's, to pick up groceries for dinner and other necessaries we needed. While there we finally found the infamous cotton candy grapes. We of course took the bait and picked up a bag at no less than $3.99 per pound.
They smell like cotton candy in the bag but how do they taste is the biggest question. Well that and if we really want our produce to taste like candy.
I am sorry to say that no, they do not taste like cotton candy at all and I actually don't know if they are supposed to although the are extremely sweet and good. My initial thought when we saw them was that they make the bags smell like cotton candy or something because of the name of their product and they sort of took off from there, dunno.
In the end and even though the do not taste like carnival quality cotton candy I would still buy them again. They are super sweet, plump and worth every penny charged for a quality product. They sort of reminded me of the Holiday Grapes that usually appear in stores this time of the year. They are your basic grape at the core, but really big - nearly cumquat size, and super sweet. I will be searching stores for those in the coming weeks as well.
Calling It A Day
That is enough for today. Time to focus on work for a little longer then head out and start the weekend off on the right foot - by drinking some margaritas!!
