A Brand Blue Day

Out of the house today probably the earliest we have left in over 6 months. Of all things it's to get to work early so we can attend a meeting to reveal the companies new logo and branding.

The theme for the day is blue and that things are changing "Brand Blue Day" for us as a corporation. Really it's sort of a big waste of time to have all employees attend this event when you think about all of the money and time it eats up. At the same time if it gets everyone riled up before our big gaming show at the end of the month then maybe that is a good thing.

I bit the bullet and wore some blue today. A blue shirt and socks that have a blue logo on them. Cicely of course rebelled and wore yellow and black. Kinda like a bumble bee I guess she is putting the sting on them? Ok yea that was pretty lame I know!

Weather

It's getting a colder out which means that fall is just around the corner. I love having all 4 seasons to enjoy but it's always sad to see them go, yet exciting to see what the next one will bring. Let's hope that fall does not decide to bring us some crazy-ass winter though!

I think this week it's only supposed to get into the 80's or so which is actually kinda nice, just makes the mornings feel a lot more nippy when it's only in the low 70's at best. Time to start pulling those sweatshirts out of the drawers and closet I guess in preparation for bundling up!

TV

So we watched both Breaking Bad and Dexter last night as planned and they were awesome. I can't believe that they will both be over in just a few weeks. Breaking Bad was pretty crazy and Dexter left us a little stunned and unsure of what's next.

Should prove to be a great couple of episodes to end both of the series that's for sure and we plan to be there for every minute of it.

Sign Off

I think that will have to do it for today. Not much else going on really. It's a busy Monday and that is nothing new lately. Cicely has to have her blood drawn this afternoon and we have some errands to run that we did not get to over the weekend but that does not make for very good journal memories. So with that I will sign off for today and see where the day takes me.
