Sugar Crush

So I swore for many, many months that I would not download the Candy Crush game for iOS. Namely because it's very addicting and expensive if you want to purchase any power ups, additional lives and related.

Not to mention both Cicely and one of my coworkers have been completely addicted to it for many months. Based on that I swore I would not touch it with a ten foot pole. Well last night I must have found an eleven foot pole because I downloaded and started playing it.

Fun game, a little harder than I would have anticipated and very expensive if you want to purchase things like boosts and additional lives (you only get a maximum of 5 for free every 3 hours I believe is the schedule). Hindsight probably a good thing since it's as addicting as I said.

Analog

So a friend of Cicely and I have us a cool book for baby Zoey titled Runaway Bunny - really sweet of her to be thinking about our new family.

Funny thing is that as those that know me understand - I am the total digital techie type and would probably have purchased all of her media digitally.

thinking about this gift makes me realize how much of a good thing that she did this for us. I realized that it's very important for Zoey to touch, hold, smell and see the analog books everyone else grew up with. In many ways they can be much better and timeless.

I have a feeling this one will get a lot of mileage. Reading it to Zoey before bedtime or possible before the dreaded afternoon naps if necessary.

Restart

That will do it for today. Lot's happening at work as well as at home since its the start of the week. Tonight is mowing and tomorrow is the weekly trip over to moms house to check on her. I hope that your week is treating you fair!
