Heli Flying Is A Bitch

Ok so it is smokey as shxt once again today. The cars were covered with ashes and you can't see the mountains that are barely off in the distance, sucks! This fire has been going on for something like 2 weeks. I guess they even let some of the prisoners out to help fight the fire. This was something that I heard secondhand so I dunno if it's entirely true although my source is reputable (thanks Cicely) ha!

Steak 'n Doh

For the past few weeks we have been keeping an eye on a local building that has been going up. Actually just down the street from us to be more precise. We heard rumor that there was supposed to be a Steak 'n Shake opening in our area and were certain that was it.

Well this morning on the way to work I did my usual glance over to see how it was coming along. My eyes nearly started to water when I recognized the Golden Arches on the fence advertising what is being constructed. Are you fucking kidding me? Just what we need is a fucking McDonald's out there. I would much rather have the Steak 'n Shake but it looks like that is not in the cards this time.

We hear there are still plans to build one in our area but the question to me is where will it go? I guess we will find out in time. It's prolly a good thing because it will save me some inches on my waistline staying away from those awesome milkshakes and steak burgers!

Helicopter

So this morning I jumped into the flight simulator again to work on my hovering and flying. Holy shxt is all that I can say. I mean I know I have not dedicated the massive amounts of time to it that most people do when learning, but usually I am a pretty dam fast learner. Not sure what it is about the helicopters that is so friggin' hard but they are.

My hovering is coming along nicely but any type of turning, better known as "circuits" is far from even decent. Essentially a circuit is nothing more than doing controlled smooth circles. Maintaining your elevation and a constant speed is most desirable as well.

Sounds easy and looks even easier when watching someone fly those patterns. I will get it eventually its just going to take a hell of a lot longer than I thought it would have.

So yea, my point is that flying is a friggin' bitch! Practice, Practice!

Clock Out

Tonight after work we do our usual stop over at moms house. Tonight we will do the normal routine of making dinner and dessert but we also have to give her the medication she has been skipping. Luckily my sister Kelly remembers it more often than I do. I have reminders setup everywhere and still managed to forget to give it to her 2 weeks ago.
