Wind & Fire

Today may have to be a rest day as far as cycling is concerned. I still may hit the gym depending on meeting and workload. If so there is always the opportunity to do some spinning in the Life Fitness stationary cycle after my 30 to 40 minutes on the elliptical.

Red Flag Warning

So there is a "red flag warning" that went out this morning. Those generally mean we are in danger of a fire, lots of wind or both. Neither of those do you want at the same time of course. Wind is one of your worst fire and wildfire enemies. Plus with the wildfires creating their own weather it makes things that much worse.

Let's hope that we get the wind today only, and yes, that is coming from a guy that friggin' hates wind on any day. I would simply prefer it over a fire that not only puts people in harms way but their homes and property as well as all of the wildlife that gets trapped and killed or forced out of their usual areas.

Walkers

So Zoey didn't get kicked out of school yesterday for wearing her shirt that had the word "ass" on it. Whew, I was honestly a little worried that some parent would freak out and I would have to tell them to chill the hell out.

Nope, no problems at all and that is a good thing! My guess is that no one really saw her other than those coming into the classroom, all of which we know so I doubt they would have an issue. If so, yes we brought a backup outfit just in case, thankfully we did not have to change her into it.

Cycling

Even though the wind is blowing like a hooker that needs to pay rent the next day I think I may still get out and go for a quick spin tonight. I am a little burnt from sitting on my ass all day writing reviews and did not get to go to the gym like I wanted to. All in all it's probably a good thing for my body to rest, but I was up 1.3 pounds or so over the past week and that pisses me off big time.

Anyway, more on the ride and whether I go or not later on. I would like to plant my ass on the couch and grow roots, mess with photos and that sort of thing for one night. It's just really hard to do when I know that I have limited time to get just over another 100 in before the end of the week or so.

Photo: nothing exciting for the photo today. Just the rack of medicine balls and related at the gym. Snapped it in between sets of reverse crunches on the roman chair equipment.
