Freezing To Toasty

The weather guessers warned us last night that there was a decent chance of freezing temperatures overnight. Well looky there, they were right! We woke up to frost on the grass and the windows of the cars were ever so slightly frosted before we went to work. The windshield wipers were more than adequate to remove the buildup, it's still an indication of the crap that is just ahead.

Winter mornings are probably one of the biggest pains in the asses there are. Then even more-so from here forward because we have baby Zoey to take care of. We cant have her freezing cold in the car in the morning before we leave for work. The car needs to be warmed up and ready to go. No real big deal, just another one of those things that we need to get our own system worked out on.

Toasty

Fast forward to tomorrow and the entire weekend (although again according to the weather guessers), it is supposed to be warm, almost hot even. We should be hitting the 80's again. Not entirely sure if that meant the low, mid or high 80's but my guess would be that it will be the low to mid side of the temperatures..

That is fine with me, I want to do some cycling this weekend and the cooler it is all day the longer and later I can ride. Otherwise I end up hosing myself by procrastinating all day in the early hours when I should really be heading out to get miles in before all of the weekenders start heading out to do whatever they do and not pay attention to cyclist.

Speaking of which, it's interesting that I have the most issues by those that you would assume would be the most cautious around cyclist. Paramedics, those RV van things that drive around the senior citizens and so on. Of course there are always the punk asses in the lifted trucks or the ones that have some piece of shxt car or truck that think they are bad ass, more like dumb ass. I choose my routes wisely though and base it off of the time of day, whether school is in or not and so on.

Heck to be fair; Saturday evenings are bad as well as Sunday's pretty much all day - really dangerous actually. You will get all of the bible thumpers burning out of the parking lots from church to get to the local breakfast or brunch joint after confessions of their sins for the week. I have had some close calls with them more than once.

Cube 3D Printer

I was stoked to receive an email this afternoon notifying me that the Cube 3D Printer ABS material is shipping out and should be here sometime next week. I have the PLA as well, the spools of material that are included with the printer at the time of purchase although I am not entirely sure if they are full spools or samples.

Either way, at least I can get it up and running and not have to wait for the material if I decide to this weekend and have the time to commit to it. It would be really cool to get some test prints out and see how the machine performs! I have been waiting for it since May 2014 so I am more than ready which translates into waaaay more than just a little excited!

All I Have

Alright that will be enough out of me today, not a whole heck of a lot to rabble about.I have a lot of work still to catch up on. This week, while very productive has not been as productive as I would have liked it to have been. Because of that I may have to take some work home with me to complete over the weekend. I really would prefer to not have to do that, but it is what it is, and I need to get all of this end-of-year stuff done and off my plate!

Tomorrow is Friday and we are planning to swing by dad and Cyndi's house to visit and mostly so they can visit Zoey. My step-mom is healing up and will be recovering for up to a year so we have to be sure she does not try to lift Zoey or something and re-injure herself. Plus if they are moving away at some point they need to get in as many visits as they can.

Alright, that does it for real this time. Hopefully the week was fair to you. I hear that we had an amazing show in Vegas this past week and the floor was buzzing over our new products. Very exciting and I hope that this means things will start becoming more and more profitable, secure and fun for each and everyone of us that have put so much into it.
