On The Menu
So I think I today will start out with a little breakfast from McDonald's - yea don't judge me, my McDonald's is probably healthier than what you ate this morning ha ha. I had a fruit and yogurt parfait with granola and a fruit oatmeal. Washed it all down with a nonfat vanilla latte, medium size. Sure in total that is just over 600 calories and on paper that looks like a lot, maybe not.
To put it into perspective that is less than most single burgers at the majority of fast food or dine-in places, heck even making a decent size burger at home is more calorie packed. Crazy I know, right!?!

On The Roadie
Heading out to ride the bike for an hour or so this morning, then it's back home to do some more end of the year reviews for my team. I need to double check the exact due date because I was under the impression that it was Tuesday. If so I need to really busy some ass today on them so I am not putting senior management behind the eight ball.
Anyway, planning to do some climbing today possibly unless my body tells me otherwise once out on the road. There is one area I would like to go further up but have heard that there is a big dog that likes to attack cyclist. I can take my pepper spray gel just in case I suppose but I would rather not have to spray a dog. I would much rather spray his or her ignorant owner!
I guess we will see, it's in the back of my mind to go up that hill, it's a really good climb and a great workout. Because it's much cooler out it should be more comfortable as well. Last time I climbed up as far as I could before the dog area everyone warned me about and it was 90+ degrees! It's in the 70's today which is 10x more manageable!
With That
Have a good day whatever you are doing on a Sunday morning, afternoon or evening! Should be another decent week of weather and I hope it is. I start the competition to ride 300km or more in 20 days on the 6th. Stationary trainers do not count so I need decent weather to make the goal.
All of the money raised, up to the max from one company of $50k goes to help injured or disabled athletes. I think it's a great cause and I am looking forward to doing it. Plus I get t-shirt when I reach my goal. Sure the shirt is $35 shipped but that is not the point now is it!
Photo: My evergreen hedges that I trimmed up last weekend, looking really good and about as straight as you can possibly get them without ruining them or making big holes. I'm happy it's done for the season, I smell like a car air freshener after it's done for several days!
