Workin' Hard

Worked in the garage a bunch today getting more stuff cleared out, thrown away, donated and related - feels great to finally start seeing some light at the end of the spring cleaning tunnel!

The only downside to it all was the dead mouse I found under one of the cabinets. I remember us having a mouse issue about 4 to 6 years ago or more, just figured they went away. I guess one lived a little longer, then died under the shelf. Poor little guy/girl was stuck to the floor and everything, but honestly did not look as bad as one might think after being under there that long. I still cleaned the heck out of the area once the mouse was picked up and tossed out, nasty!

Craftsman Cabinet

Managed to get my new Craftsman cabinet built, positioned, mounted to the wall and so on. It actually took a ton longer than I thought it would, probably nearly 4 hours total if I had to guess. I don't know how they expect a person to build it alone though.

Putting on the doors, tightening all the bolts and securing it to the wall would be nearly impossible alone. Lucky for me I had Cicely here to help me out and it ended up being a ton of fun working on it together - still happy it's done though!

Oh Yeah, Pizza

Because we worked our butts off all day we decided that we better reward ourselves with a dinner out (plus its payday). So on the menu initially was sushi but we decided to go for a couple personal sized Blind Onion pizza's.

Anyone around this area that has had pizza from there knows how awesome it is and a killer treat for dinner. Others will either not "get it" or will knock it because it is not Chicago or New York pizza - sorry I have had those as well and I still put Blind Onion on top, but that is me, go on and have your likes and dislikes too - that is half the fun ya' know!

Strike 3

Time to call it a game, hit the showers and call it a night. Well not quite bed, but I do plan to grow some roots into the couch, enjoy my pizza and most likely a couple episodes of Eureka or something, if anything, recorded on TiVo.
