Success

Well we all made it to Friday, I knew we could do it! We just had to keep our heads down and focus on the goals for the week and it would all work out.

On the other hand if it did not in your case then remember there is always next week and 2 days to drown your sorrows in good booze, food, family and friends or a combination of all those things.

TCG Playing Update

So the game that I mentioned a few entries back called Order & Chaos Duels has turned out to be a lot of fun. I have been playing it for at least an hour pretty much everyday. I am learning some more of the strategies and even started to play against other players as well as pillage gold from them by beating their character. So I am really happy that I decided to stick with it and figure it out. There are still some things I need to get better at.

I need to also get more cards that are stronger as I am quickly learning that spells can help you much more than stronger minions for example. Anyway, if you are into that sort of game you may want to check it out and stick with it if you like it even the slightest, it does get better once you understand it more.

Cizzle Day

Cicely's birthday surprises were a success and I am confident that she enjoyed every one of them based on her reactions.

The first was me showing up home from work early (which NEVER happens) to hang out with her and spend some time together.

Next I surprised her with a bunch of the goodies that I picked up for her at a local bakery (yesterday's photo). All of which were hand made in her favorite flavors and colors.

Next was dinner. We called in and picked up Thai from her favorite local place. Thai is another one of her favorite foods right up there with sushi. Everything she likes we ordered and both enjoyed for dinner.

Last but not least I had a small hand made and decorated red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting hiding in the garage. I snuck out, lot a candle and brought it in while singing happy birthday. Yea before you ask my singing is really bad but she made it through the song.

Overall I think her birthday was a total success and she enjoyed it all very much. I figure it's the least I can do because she does so much for us everyday.

Blow Out The Candles

I think I will end this entry for today. It has been a whirlwind of a week both at work and outside of work. News of at least one more long term friend and coworker leaving the company among all the other announcements.

For me this means that it's prime time to focus once again to try and ease the animosity and stress that will otherwise unfold next week should I not accomplish all that I want to this week.
