Cizzle Day

So as I mentioned yesterday, today once again started with additional team meetings and discussion about yesterday's upcoming changes in my game studio. It looks like my group will be heading to the South side of the building along with one other group towards the end of April.

Once the crappy part is over with, the moving stage, it should be pretty cool and the groups of art and related that we are going to be paired up with are going to be a nice mix as well. For someone such as myself that does not like change that is out of my control, especially in my working environment, I am actually looking forward to things to come. I figured if nothing else it helps to get us all out of the same old routines and outside of your comfort zones.

Alright on to the most important part of today. Today is my beautiful wife Cicely's (aka Cizzle) Birthday. Happy Birthday I hope it was great and everything you expected!

Cicely actually took the day off from work to have a day completely to herself without me coming up with things we could be doing or worse, her here at work doing what she does everyday. I think it is awesome that she took a personal day and can stay in her pajamas and in bed for the entire day or get up and have some breakfast, sit on the couch with the fuzzy kid and watch old movies on TV. What ever she does, it's ultimately what she decides and that is a great way to spend a birthday!

With That

I think I will end it here. I need to wrap up a few things and get home to spend some more time with the birthday girl before her day is over and a normal day comes our way with the sunrise. Hey at least it is Friday tomorrow, that is a good thing. The weather is getting a little crappy again, but I think it will be short lived and should be out of the valley by the start of next week - unfortunately just in time for Monday and everyone to be stuck inside a building and grey cubicle walls. If we can all just bear with it through the week, next weekend should be much nicer.
