So we are going to the acrylic laser cutter guy to get some parts made then its over to UPS to send off some of her deliveries from the recent big online sale.
I am not going to sugar coat it, it's really nice doing whatever we want on a Monday instead of being in our usual cube farm surroundings.
We even managed to find time to go past the antique shop, one of Cicely's favorite things to do when we are in the area. She rarely leaves with empty hands and today was no different, she found a bracelet and earrings set she could not live without.
Prick
So last week I went and had a blood draw to make sure everything is running as it should be in my system. I was happy that I was done with needles for awhile, probably 6 months or so. well that was until we got a call from my doctor that they have an opening today so I can get my tetanus shot I have been putting off for a really long time. Dang-it I am prolly the only person that decides to get a needle in the arm on his day off!
I mean I am super stoked that they are able to get me in so quickly and give me the injection, I just wish there was not a needle involved ha ha.
Yea go ahead and call me a pussy I don't care, we all have our phobias - don't we? Not to mention that I don't remember, mostly because its been so long since I last had the injection, but if memory is correct the tetanus is the shot that keeps on giving. Generally you are nice and sore for several days to a week - oh boy doesn't that sound like fun ;). It's ok I understand if you want to live vicariously through me today.
** Update: So the tetanus injection was cake to say the least. I did not even feel it to be perfectly honest so I am stoked and yea, I'm a pussy! No matter, I am all set for 10 years now bitches!
Dinner
Last night dinner was great at Olive Garden with dad and Cyndi. We did the deal they have going on where you order one for now then one to take for the next day for $13 or something like that. Not too bad at all to be honest and it was a nice meal and conversation.
The only real negative was that we were there just a little past closing and one of the other waitresses was being a little bold and pushy hinting that "it's prolly about time for us to get going". Really friggin' annoying to be honest but rather than be an ass like I wanted to, we just took the nudge and called it a night so they could as well.
More Organization
Otherwise that is all for today. I plan to work some more filling up the shed and organizing things. I am going to get this cool ladder lift off of Amazon.com as well to put my new 10 foot ladder up and out of the way. I just hope it works out the way I have it planned to. Might even get lucky and be able to mount it in the shed and store the ladder in there, we will see how it goes.
Enough I Guess
Time to jump back into it all I suppose. Yesterday I did not so as much as I wanted to and should have done. From the looks of it I prolly won't be painting the garage this week but no sweat as there is plenty of summer left for projects to be started, put-off and completed.

I use to drink coffee in the morning with my mom from a cup like these. Well my cup was mostly filled with milk, but I thought I was pretty cool.
Kinda weird my childhood stuff is already in an antique store - I'm not that old!
