Friday Already, Ugh!

So it's already Friday and although that is generally a good thing, it's a bummer this time because it means that our week away from the game studio is pretty much over. In a couple days we will have to start moving into the new area of the building and play "catch-up" from being gone.

More Organizing

Today will be a day of cutting wood, mostly 2x4's and drilling, countersinking and mounting things in the shed. This is probably the hardest part of the project because there are so many parts to each step. As I have said each and every time though, it will be awesome once it is done, and it will be super organized and clean.

Spending Money

I received my weekly email of deals from the online hobby shop that I get all of my RC related toys and accessories from and once again they had deals that I could not pass up on. Oh, the shop is A Main Hobbies - they are friggin' awesome!

Anyway, they had a great deal on a micro short track truck - sweet! Unfortunately happiness was short lived because the "on-sale" SCT (short course truck) was the brushed motor version. This led me to looking around for the brushless micro short course truck that I have been wanting and whatta you know, they had the silver one and the hard to find blue and silver one. Oh hell yeah - where is my credit card!

So I went to their online customer service chat, talked to a super helpful guy named Oscar, who got me all of the specs, the best batteries to use (I like to get the upgraded ones whenever I can) I then proceeded to fill up my cart with stuff.(their online live support is always top-notch btw).

Everything should be delivered and in my hands sometime next week. If so I will try to make that my photo of the day rather than the springtime blooming flowers I have been defaulting to this week. Hey I can't help it if they are blooming and make for great photos. Not to mention they do not stay that way for very long so I try to enjoy & appreciate them.

Actually now that I think about it, the RC photo prolly wont be taken until one of the weekend posts when I have time to set up the SCT. Sorry in advance, there may be a few more blooming springtime flower shots. Deal with it :).

Fade Out

So we have to run to Home Depot and a couple other places this afternoon. So that is a sign that my break is over and I have to get back to it and get more done. Time to call this entry good-nuff.
