Victory

Finally a nice sunny morning with only a slight breeze expected early afternoon and zero chance of snow or rain. Is spring actually finally here or is it just another tease of warm summer days to come? I guess we will all find out.

Bozo

So our bozo-the-clown and head puppet in the White House, yes I am referring to cough-cough president Obama, was nearly in tears yesterday during his press conference about the gun bill he guaranteed he would pass. Well those ever so recognizable fake Obama tears that never really appear unless due to all of the fake rubbing of his eyes as though to make sure there are no tears. Really obvious and annoying to be honest.

Then with Biden and others behind him holding a fake frown for the entire 20 minute press conference just added to the hilarity. I mean come on, the shxt that went down is horrible, but shxt happens every fuckin' day so respect and feel for it all people. Quit using events like this as a fuel to propel your agendas!

All of the people that were injured or killed in Boston received immediate attention in the news for special events and people joining together. That is what it should be about, joining together and protecting and / or comforting one-another during tragedy not using it to pass bullshxt legislation.

Today I woke to the news that a giant fertilizer plant exploded and flatted it and many structures near and far. You would not start legislation to ban green lush grasses and related now would you? It's another opportunity to join together and help one another get through a situation and learn ways to avoid them in the future. We are becoming weak it seems as a nation the more we want the puppets in charge to protect us and make our decisions. Don't let it happen with anything big or small people as its hard if not impossible to get those things back.

Lets not forget "to each their own" rather than banning anyone and anything that does not fit your ideas. Those are yours and hopefully no one will try to take them away but don't be ignorant, your "interests" simply have not made the top of the list yet.

On that note I just wanted to say that I am more than stoked that Obama's gun bill did not pass. I wish it was a bigger gap between the yes and no votes but that gives us some room to work. It passed with 54 No's and needed 60. A big thank you to all of those that did not let a right be stripped from us for no good reason.

To show you guns are not a top problem here are some stats on deaths from 3 days ago. These are updated frequently, if not daily if you are wondering if it is a convenient s data-set, it's really not.

Blood-work

To change the topic now before this turns into a 2 hour reading exercise - today, this morning actually, I have to do one of those things I flippin' hate - get my blood drawn so I can test all of my "stuff" to make sure the ticker is still in tune.

Go ahead and call me a pussy, I don't care I just don't like getting a needle in the arm first thing in the morning. Especially when I had to fast the night before and can't have my morning cup of Blind Dog coffee to jump start me. Oh well it is necessary and will be done here shortly and I can move on with my day.

Speaking Of Moving On

Today is our official "packing day" in my game studio - boo! We have to pack up our shxt and get ready to be relocated to the south side of the game studio. On the bright side they are giving us all the day off so the movers can come in and do their work. At the same time the office place will come in and behind the cube farm rebuilding. I decided to take advantage of this downtime as did Cicely so we are taking next week off as well. Figured 10 days off and only have to use 5 and not get behind on any projects - what more could we ask for?

MBO

I do have to get together with my manager today and have a 1 on 1 to go over my mid-year status and goals. Cicely had hers yesterday and it went pretty good and I expect mine too as well. I just hate doing them, almost as much as getting blood work done!

Packed

Well I think it is prime time to call it a day. I am now fully packed at work and ready to get into my 10 days off from work before I have to jump back in and unpack everything as well as get going once again getting all of my games back up to speed.
