Spring Things

Started out today doing some flying in the Phoenix flight simulator followed by breakfast and then the rest of an episode of Eureka that I fell asleep during last night.

My flying session went pretty good but there still seems to be something going on with the control unless that is simply "how it is" when flying helicopters. I have tried many settings that I have found online with most not making any real difference to be honest. So it's possible it's just me, the pilot that needs more time behind the sticks.

The other issue is that I was flying based on my current weather and since it was really windy yesterday and today I was like what the heck is going on? Now I know it was because of that setting. Super cool feature but annoying when you don't realize that is the reason you are being blown all over in the simulator and its not because your trim is messed up.

Aeration & Fertilizer

So we had a small local company called Vital-N-Green come out around 2 o'clock and aerate our lawn as well as give it fertilizer. The guy and his co-worker did an amazing job. I can honestly say that it has never been aerated and fertilized this good by any company, even the big name ones.

Because of this we actually set it up so we will have them for the remainder of the year every couple months or so to come out and feed the lawn front and back. Then we will probably keep them for as long as possible to have them come back to do the aeration every year and fertilization for winter, fall, spring and so on. I am really impressed like I said with their work - it was top notch.

Shed

Once done fling I decided to start getting stuff out of the garage and house and out into the storage shed.

Wow what a crazy amount of work trying to figure out what to put where and sort of plan everything out so it has a proper spot. Well I quickly learned that is the wrong way to go about it and its best to just start putting stuff in there and organizing as you go. I have a ton more t do and it's going to take a good deal more time but it feels good to at least get the project going.

BBQ

After a hard day of working Cicely and Oggy went down To the place we had barbecue last weekend and picked us up some ribs, coleslaw, and mac & cheese for tonight's dinner. That is an awesome reward for a hard day at work.

Usually Oggy gets to have a lot of the rib bone scraps to gnaw at but while we were outside working he actually got into a bag of sugar cookies we had sitting on the floor momentarily. He never does anything like that so we were completely surprised. Lucky for us and him, he only ate about one or two maybe three cookies total. I think he is probably pretty full so we will have to limit the amount of rib-bone meat he gets.

All Done

I think that is all I have time for today. Have to get back outside and do a little more work filling up the shed while there is still daylight and before Cicely and Oggy get back from getting dinner. Not to mention tonight is Doctor Who so I cannot wait to watch the new episode.

I hope your Saturday has been as nice as ours has been. Enjoy the rest of it!
