Fuzzy Kid Blues

Woke up this morning to our fuzzy kid, Oggy, not feeling so well. He never wants us to know that he is feeling a little under the weather as it's part of a k-9's way. They never want to show weakness while in or around the pack. Unfortunately for him, we know the signs and jump in to action so he both feels better and does not have an accident in the house.

He, as usually was awesome this time. He got up, sort of stared toward the bedroom door, knowing he had to get outside but like anyone, k-9 or human, who wants to go out into the cold at 5 AM. Against his thoughts of tucking back into bed and hoping he did not have an accident, he got up and went out. We watched from the window to make certain he was getting rid of "something" and to try and catch a glimpse of what it may have been that was bothering him (puking, diarrhea, etc).

I am sad to say that he had a mixed of all things nasty. The poor lil guy was trying his best to poo, but seemed to be a little constipated. While at the same time being hunched over puking, then trying to pee. As much of an awww factor as it had because we felt so bad for him, it was good to see him get rid of it all, although the process took around 10 minutes before he finally came back in. Once back in he had a lot more spring in his step and seemed to be feeling much better, woo-hoo!

Breakfast came a short time later, which worried us a little that it may start the process all over again. Luckily for us (and him) he chowed down his turkey and pumpkin, guzzled down some fresh water and headed out back for round 2 of his poo session. All went as planned, he proceeded to do his backyard "perimeter" check, marking the appropriate areas and came back in as though nothing ever happened a few hours before. Woot!

Boston Happenings

A quick blurb for my own historical reasons. Today the the news is reporting that they think police have identified a suspect relating to the bombings in Boston. They say there are multiple photos of a man carrying and placing duffel bags that fit the description of those containing explosives. I look forward to see how this plays out. I hope they catch those to blame and it does not get pinned on a media scapegoat. Only time will tell with these events.

Presidents statement, a joke served fresh with a side of laughter and silliness. I mean he knows he cant run again right? No reason to be such a fake all the time - oh well do what you do best.

Fade Out

After the early to rise for Oggy I am a little sleepy today and need to stay busy so it does not become nap-time in my cube. With that it's time for me to start heading over to the coffee station for another cup of corporate brew that I may follow-up with a silver edition blueberry Red Bull. Whatever it takes to get me through the day right? Happy hump day - hope your week is playing out as you had hoped it would. If not, there is always a second chance next week!
