New Years Eve

Wow, back to work already! Ok not really "already" seeings that we have been off for 6 days straight. The problem is that it always seems like vacation goes by so quickly and the first few days back to work are not only hectic and a game of "catch-up" but they tend to drag on as well.

Monday Is Friday

Yea I know, boo-hoo I have to go develop games all day, it's not like I am out working in the freezing cold weather or in a sweat shop sewing running shoes.

Let's look at this in another light. It's Monday after a nice long holiday break and we are off work again tomorrow for New Years Day. We spent time with each other, family and friends and were paid for 8 hours a day for doing so. So yea, I feel pretty dam lucky.

Also, it's cool that today is both Monday and Friday but it also means we will have another Monday on Wednesday but thankfully another Friday on Friday. As most know about me, I am not a TGIF type at all, but I do appreciate the extra time a Friday leads into.

Par-Tay

It's New Year's Eve and according to most we should be getting shxt-faced tonight or doing some sort of "drinking crawl" like the Santa crawl, zombie crawl and related. Nope, not us this year because we plan to stay home, maybe open some champagne and ring in the New Year that way.

Sure, probably sounds like the low-energy plans of a 80 year old married couple and that is ok actually. We will be able to enjoy our day off tomorrow with no hangover and headache. Before you say it I do know that its possible to ring in the New Year without getting sloppy, but we chose to simply stay home and just enjoy it that way. Not to mention there is a Walking Dead marathon on tonight should we get bored.

Be Safe

Enough for today, I may change some things up in 2013 as far as my journal entries are concerned. More on that tomorrow -- gotta give it some more thought. Not a "resolution" by any means, more of a sanity adjustment of sorts.

Until next year, I hope you have a safe and happy ringing in of the New Year and make the most out of 2013 from the start and all it has to offer you!

Drive safe and please do not drive drunk. Most peeps are shxtty enough drivers when driving sober! The last thing you want to do is start the new year off with a DUI or worse, killing an innocent person because of your shxtty drunk-ass Santa crawling daze!
