Merry Christmas To Me

So I hinted and hoped that I would get one particular gift all year long and today was the day to find out if I had been good enough to get it. This morning, my better half, also know as Mrs. Claus for the day managed to find me an AR Drone 2.0 helicopter! I am stoked to say the least and I absolutely cannot wait to fly it.

Unfortunately today I messed around on my iPad and have yet to take my maiden flight with the drone mostly due to a pisser of a headache that has been trying to cramp my day. I've been fighting it the best that I can, drinking lots of water and even eating a few Advil but it just wont let up and actually seems to be getting worse, fucker! It will eventually fade, apparently not anytime soon.

On top of the headache it's been snowing pretty good outside and I don't think the AR Drones are able to handle moisture, I will have to check and see though because it would be pretty cool to be able to fly it on days like this when there is snow on the ground and it is slightly snowing outside. I think it would be the makings for some cool video and flight time.

Mrs. Claus

Well, because I was given exactly what I wanted and Cicely Mrs. Claus had been 10 times better than me all year I figured I had better get her some of the things she wanted. She can be hard to shop for but at the same time really easy if that makes any sense. I think I did ok because she seemed really excited and happy about all of her gifts.

Mrs. Claus started out getting an email this morning that she had a $25 Starbucks gift-card waiting for her to add to her passbook application on her iPhone. Next she opened up some eyeliner that she had been wanting for awhile, then a Tokidoki Unicorn that comes in white so you have to decorate or color it how you see fit. I am sure she will cover hers with rhinestones and it will look awesome. Next she opened up a collector Swarovski Crystal Hello Kitty that I have been wanting to get her for quite some time. Last but not least an eBay gift certificate so she can clear out some of the items she has sitting in her "watching" list in her "My eBay".

Oggy

So our fuzzy kid was not left out of the holiday spirit. Oggy opened up a new toy last night when we got home from dads that was from grandma and grandpa. It was a stuffed animal and he loved it. We played chase for awhile until he was worn out, ok until I was worn out which takes much less time. Then this morning he opened up one of several of his gifts from us which was  Santa cookie. He was allowed to eat 1/2 of it then we put the rest away for later. He has several other treats but we are going to wait to give them to him over the next week or 2. Chihuahua's gain weight really fast, especially during the winter so the last thig we want to do is add to it and hurt his heart or general health.

Back To Laxin'

I think that is about all for this Christmas Day entry. Last night was so much fun over at dads with all of the good food and family time. I know it was a ton of work for my dad and step-mom Cyndi but we all appreciate it very much, it makes the holiday that much more special. For me its time to sink back into the couch and watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation as I always do during this time of the year, and try to shake off this headache.

Cheers to everyone, I hope your holiday was as amazing as mine. Take some time to forgive and forget and move on to better things. Time spend dwelling is time wasted in my book. Get pissed-off, talk or duke it out and move on if necessary, its more important than you know.

Photo: Rob Sheridan artwork that I thought was perfect for today. Titled "Presents Opening Children". Such an awesome artist!
