Mellow

The word for today was "mellow". Cicely had her craft show in downtown Sparks again so I just hung out at home and chilled with the fuzzy kid most of the day.

Errands

Around 2:00 I was getting a little cabin fever so I decided to start doing something productive. That meant it was time to head to the grocery store so Cicely would not have to after a long day at the craft fair and I would feel productive.

It was a successful shopping run except once again I managed to spend way more than I should have because I don't have the self control that Cicely does at the store, especially when hungry.

Once home it was time for a late lunch and laundry, again so Cicely would not have to mess with it once she got home from a long day selling her awesome creations.

Wow! Do the preceding paragraphs make me sound like an crazy mad domestic Mr. mom or something like that? Well I guess Mr. mom would not fully count since there is not a "little" involved. It's funny, I am ok with that.

Cicely does this shxt for us every single week for the most part and it feels great to help her out with it when I can. Anyone that thinks otherwise needs a lesson in what relationships are all about. Give and take? Sure, but also "do" when not expected to and not because you are kudos fishing.

Trust me, that chicken noodle soup your better-half brings will be a lot more enjoyable and meaningful when the favor comes back around your way that day you are under the weather or in need. Just sayin'.

Evening

Cicely made it back home around 6:00 so we had some dinner and watched TV for a few hours, played some games on the iPad and that sort of thing most of the remainder of the night until it was dessert time! When the clock struck "dessert" we dove in with spoons in-hand and enjoyed a big ass slice of the tuxedo cake I picked up on my shopping adventure.

Holy crap is that stuff good, never had it before so it was a nice surprise picking it out and having it be something we both really liked. I guess you really cant go wrong with most cakes, well unless they are coconut, blah I friggin hate most anything coconut.

The funny thing is that I am ok with coconut water. It's really good and even better than water for hydration, although it's not for everyone. There are only a few brands that I don't care much for because they smell like baby puke and although I have never tasted baby puke its what I imagine it would taste like.

That's 'Bout It

Surprise, surprise once again a short but sweet post (no pun intended because of my awesome cake). Anyway, a short entry partially because I have only 1 1/2 minutes before its midnight which means that this post would not count for today and I cant have that now can I!

So its time to to end it for tonight and hope for something interesting to talk about tomorrow. I am sure I will still be buzzing from my sugar filled cake high!
