Early Friday

As the title for today's entry implies, today is our Friday. We took tomorrow off so we can use up a little of our vacation time, mostly me, I have a ton and don't want to lose any overage at the end of the year. That part of our new policy sucks for those of us that earn the max amount of time every pay period. No matter it is the policy that we all have to adhere to so I will roll with it.

Free Lunch Breakfast

The entire week we have been celebrating the conclusion of a game we have been doing this past year that focuses around the Ellen DeGeneres show. To celebrate the kick-off and the showing of the game at our annual show next wee we have had contests and prizes all week long related to the Ellen show. Everything from Ellen glasses to swag you could buy on the shows website.

Today our prize is a free breakfast at our company cafeteria. Cicely and I did not show up in time to get the free breakfast and that is OK with me, I just hope she is not bummed out about missing it. That girl likes breakfast more than anyone I have ever known.

I'm not saying there is something wrong with that being your favorite meal, because there is nothing wrong with it. It's just cute how excited she gets when it comes to breakfast or even brunch. You can almost see her gears turning, already deciding what she plans to order or full her plate up with if it's buffet style like on the cruise ships.

I will admit, those are the ones that I like the most - heck for most meals honestly. With a buffet I have enough willpower to not over eat and the advantage for me is that I can get a little of everything that I want vs having to choose one item. I can be a little, very, extremely indecisive with my food choices so buffets are a welcomed option.
