Do-Over

So it's the start of a fresh new week. This means that it's prime-time to reconsider and reevaluate those things we may have not done as well as we wanted to do over the course of the last week. That is the great thing about Monday, we get a get out of jail free card, better known as a  "do-over" to attempt to get things back on track and make it a better week.

Cycling

Not really sure at this point if I plan to go for a ride after work or not today. I have not been outside much but it is smokey out from the smell of things in the game studio at the moment although it does look nice and calm out. Little to no wind is always a plus on riding days but few and far between in this area unless I go really early in the morning - something I always plan to do, but rarely do.

Instead I might be able to get more of my cardio in today by mowing the lawn, front and back. This usually equals around 8,00 steps or so and that combined with today's walking around should be more than enough to satisfy my needs for movement. Plus it's probably a good idea to give my legs, and system a little rest after the crazy long ride yesterday.

Dinner

Cicely and Zoey are going downtown to meet her parents to have dinner and celebrate her sisters 20th birthday. It's actually her brother and sisters since they are twins, but her brother will not be able to make it. He is going to school down in Yuba and playing baseball as well so coming down for dinner is not an option. More than likely he will come down another day and have the dinner. I am going to try and stay at work and get things done to ease up the workload I have looming over me.

I'm planning to go home once I have a good deal of work done and possibly take Oggy for a walk if its not too smokey by home. I wanted to go for a ride, but as mentioned it's getting smokier and smokier by the hour. I can only assume that the fires have kicked back up again - sucks!

Photo: Cicely's cool new rainbow boots. They are bad-ass huh!
