Today should be a shorter day if everything goes as planned. Shorter in the way of class, not the actual workday. We were told on Tuesday that generally we are able to wrap up everything by 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon the last day if we are able to stay on track and get through enough material the first couple of days. I think that we accomplished that and so we should be getting out early - fingers crossed for luck!
Sold!
No not my company, rather the Garmin that I listed on eBay the night before last. It's not my fastest sale ever, that would be this helicopter I sold a few months back. I listed it and by the time the auction went live someone immediately bought and paid for it. Grand total I think it took just under 8 minutes for it to go from listed to sold.
When you think about it, that is crazy fast! It would be difficult to walk into a store, find what you want, take it to the cashier or self checkout, pay and get out of the store that quickly. Granted you would have the item in your possession in that scenario and not have to wait 3 to 5 days for it, but I bet that the money you saved makes up the difference more times than not.
No matter I am really happy that it sold so quickly. I can now replenish my savings account with the money spent for the new Garmin 1000 that I picked up to replace the 810. I just finished setting up the 1000 last night but have not taken a ride with it yet. I plan to either tonight or worst car this weekend I will do one or two rides for sure.
Otherwise
Not much else going on today. Class, work and the usual kind of stuff for a Thursday. I do need to touch base with my team and see how everyone is doing this week but other than that it should be smooth sailing for the most part. I welcome days like that, some start that way but end up much differently - let's hope this is not one of those! What ever it is that you are doing today - enjoy it to the fullest and until tomorrow - c-ya'!
