Acidic Night

Well it was a rough night for my better half, Cizzle. She woke up around 3 in the morning with some serious heartburn and stomach acid problems. It thankfully has not been an every night occur acne but has happened enough times for her to be dead tired some days. It's one of the many things that people seem to not talk about when it comes to be pregnant. All you hear is how great it was or the weird food cravings and so on.

To date I don't think Cicely has craved much of anything out of the norm. Most everything has been pretty much business as usual as far as food is concerned. I think at first she was wanting sushi a little more but she always does. She was on a bit of a McDonald's Fillet-O-Fish kick for a few weeks as well but thankfully that one did not last. That is all we need is baby to be hooked on that food from birth!

Really it's just another type of crack baby at that point ha ha. OK I'm only kidding Zoey you are nothing close to a crack baby. Wanted to clear that up in case you read this one day. I just don't want you to be hooked on that crap. Everything in moderation and you will do just fine.

Lazy Boy

Because of the acid Cicely could not fall asleep or get comfortable in bed so she went in and slept in babies room from around 3:30 until I woke her up to start getting ready for work.

I know she is exhausted but keeps pushing on. I can only imagine how wiped out she must feel between being pregnant and not getting any sleep last night because of the heartburn and then stomach acids coming up into her throat and mouth. Anyone that has dealt with that knows that it is not fun.

At least she was able to get a couple hours of good sleep though. That is better than getting no sleep, well most of the time anyhow. Hopefully she can make it up tonight. If not at least we have a 3 day weekend coming up this weekend. That will be nice for us both!

School

Well school finally starts for me tomorrow morning at 9. I have been both dreading and looking forward to the classes. It all depends on how they are run I suppose. Once the core are out of the way it will be nice because I can take exactly what interests me vs. What they want me to take for the certificate.

No matter I think in the end I will be stoked that I accomplished it and it will all be behind me but the knowledge will be with me for the long haul.

Anyway that does it for today. We have our annual open house at work today for the entire company so that should be interesting. I am not planning to participate but we will see. Have a good day and if you are in the area get ready for some annoying wind this afternoon! I hope the dam fence does not blow down finally!
