Puking Fuzzy Kid

Good morning Tuesday, which is actually our Monday this week. It was nice having the extra day off yesterday that's for sure. Although we did not get a lot done, Cicely was able to get a lot of rest like she needs and I was as well.

To many, myself included at times, if you are not racing on the weekends, doing amazing things, partying and so on then you have pretty much wasted the days away. I used to think that as well but anymore I just take it as it comes and go with the flow. I think once baby is here a lot of our weekend time will be predetermined for us anyhow.

Fuzzy Kid

So after running done errands yesterday and getting back home I decided to take Oggy for a nice walk. We both had a good time during it. He has not been able to take the full walk in about a week so he had lots of sniffing to do. For me it was just nice breathing the crisp air and spending time with him. Plus it gives Cicely a few minutes of peace so she can clear her mind.

After Cicely and Oggy went and grabbed us some Chinese for dinner. We watched Walking Dead and Almost Human while we ate and only gave Oggy a few very small bites. Anything we gave him was carrots or peas from the rice and we would make sure to wipe or suck the grease or sauce off first.

As luck, or lack there-of would have it the bites still bothered him and he was not feeling well this morning around 5 AM so Cicely got up and gave him some apple juice which always seems to help his belly calm down.

As usual the juice made him feel better but he still ended up puking all over my arm around 5:30 AM and then feeling almost 100%. It's not a big deal really so maybe I am more ready for parenthood than I give myself credit. My only concern in situations like that is that he feels better. The mess can always be cleaned up. He had one other little spit up about 20 minutes later and has been ok since.

Once up I gave him breakfast and we played a little fetch with his favorite buddy, better known as "piggy toy". He then went in and laid down to snooze with Cicely so I think he is going to do just fine the rest of the day.

As most that read my entries know, Oggy will actually get up and run outside to puke 99% of the time. Something we never really taught him specifically but we live him for it. Not because we don't have to clean up after him because of it, but because he is so flippin' smart to do it!

Back To Back

Once in the studio today my day will be only slightly productive as far as game development. I took a look at my calendar when I was having my morning coffee and realized that I am either booked or double booked in some time slots for the entire day today!

Not really sure how the heck that happened but it did and I can do nothing but roll with it. It's a good thing I got up and did 1.25 miles on the treadmill otherwise I would have not had any exercise today other than running to and from meetings.

Oh well maybe this will help the day to go by quicker and I can then focus my energy on tomorrow and getting some game development done. My game is nearly there, just at the pain in the ass stage now where everyone wants to piss on it and make changes. You know, the usual way things go before we ship.
