Ants In Your Pants

Yep no question about it, it's Monday that's for sure! Several artist came in over the weekend and managed to get a bunch of content dropped to me which means I am busy busy! While its nice to have a lot of content to work on, it would be nice to simply ease into the week.

As it sits now, everyone is aware of the updates and new content so as expected they have ants in their pants with anticipation. Yea, they better just clam down a couple notches! :D

Weather

Just a quick blurb about the weather. It was super got yesterday, hit 102 degrees and was around 98 to 100 all day. Today it is supposed to be 105 for the high and as of 10 this morning it was already feeling like that would not be a problem to achieve.

Our power bill is going to be friggin' crazy for this month, I am not looking forward to that. I mean the AC ran yesterday from pretty much 1 in the afternoon until 7 or so in the evening.

Dexter

So the first episode of the final season of Dexter was pretty awesome last night and is looking to make for a really good season. With the addition of a new person at the office Dexter has someone looking over his shoulder while he tries to also look over his own.

Then there is his sister Deborah. She is pretty fucked up from shooting her boss to protect Dexter at the end of the last season. She is pretty much found her own thing now as a private investigator of sorts taking the cases she wants. In reality it's a way for her to sorta go crazy because everything she believes in or has followed is now worthless.

I don't wanna say much more, but if you are a fan if the show hopefully you are enjoying it as much as I am. It definitely has a different "vibe" this season but what do you expect - shxt's going to go down!

Fires

We have a fire burning around this area just not sure where exactly it is at. The valley is filled with smoke, but not to the point that it would be if one of the close hills or mountains was burning. It's always a scary time of year for fires up in the hills. I remember several years back some asshole wanted to create a "ring of fire" so he was lighting all of the surrounding hills on fire. He got pretty close to doing it too, but was finally caught and the fires put out. I think there were no homes or structures burned which make me happy.

Speaking of fires, there were 11 firefighters killed while working on a huge blaze in Arizona this past weekend. What a terrible thing to have happen. Sure it's a risk of the job but none of us every want it to be a reality that someone is killed in the line of duty.

Merge Left

Alright, time to get out of the Blogger daily entry lane and merge back I to the workday. My hope is to not be stuck at work super late every night playing catchup because of the long weekend we have this week because of the 4th of July.

I ordered a paint sprayer last night and a few other things so that project should be on target for this coming weekend. I just have to be sure not to fall down any time wasting rabbit holes in the morning those days so I can get it all done. My goal is to be done Saturday, so we will see how that turns out!
