Cruisin' Through The Week

Little bit different start today. Rather than up and out of the house early, we are actually running behind for some reason. Last night after mowing the lawn, edging and all of that I ate dinner and was basically crashed out on the couch until midnight with the fuzzy kid curled up next to me keeping me cozy.

Tonight we go over to moms to check in on her, get her some dinner and try to continue to help her through her confusion and mourning period after losing her fuzzy kid, Nemo.

Fashion

Tomorrow Cicely has her first 3 or 4 fashion shows of many more to come in the next 2 weeks. The shows tomorrow are part of a fashion mob style show where they will be showing up at random places around town and putting on a fashion show for everyone that happens to be at that location at that time.

Should be really cool for her to do and get the experience before doing some of the bigger shows that are on the horizon for her this month. She has done things like New York Fashion week, Sanrio events in L.A. And so on, but at those shows she only had to focus on her items she was putting in the show. For these she has had to pick models, design super secret new things, promote it on radio and related. If nothing else it's actually really good experience.

An Non-Sense

So I applied for ads on my site again through Google and once again I was denied by them. Originally it was because my Blogger site was too new, totally understandable and had I known some of the guidelines I would not have even submitted an application at that time.

This time they turned me away because they said that my blog site has too many pop-ups, broken links and is hard to navigate because of those issues. Umm, what a canned response if I say so myself. My blog has zero pop-ups, all of my links work - guaranteed, and what's-more is that it's all Google's software running it with the exception of my domain. That is mine, but hosted by GoDaddy.

No big deal to be honest because I don't see myself making buckets or even cups of money from it, rather it would have been a cool learning experience and may have made me focus on getting more readers. Could be a bad thing since this is more focused on being my personal historical reference, journal or whatever you want to call it.

So of course I will try again when they allow me to so I can hear what the excuse is at that time, for now I am ad free and proud of it!

'Nuff

That will do it for my entry today. I am just happy I was able to write it before the 11th hour like yesterday. I actually nearly forgot to publish it, but it made it.
