Cat Walk

So today is the day Cicely has been working toward for many months, long days and late nights. Starting at 2:00 PM she will begin the final preparations for her models, makeup, hair and final fittings to be 100% certain that all of her looks are exactly as planned to perfection.

I know she is super nervous and I will admit that I am nervous for her as well but I know that she will do awesome. She does not want to attend the after party because she is so exhausted. I recommended to her that she goes anyway for at least an hour to mingle with fans, other designers and so on. My bet is that her adrenalin will kick in and she will get a nice second wind to get her through the night.

As I told her, she has worked to hard to miss even a minute of the rewards and appreciation. I am more proud of her than she could possibly realize and can't wait to see how it goes tonight on the cat walk, yea on the cat walk baby!

Results

Otherwise I am cutting the entry off for today. I was into work early for our all-hands meeting this month, then back to my cube to get shxt done. My game is looking great and progressing at a good pace although I have to avoid thinking about all of the things we still need to get done otherwise I will freak myself out and start stressing for nothing.

Should be a good weekend - scratch that, it will be a good weekend. I plan to do more to the garage, hang lights and start putting stuff in its place. I still want / need to do the flooring that I want to add, but at just under $1,000 I want to take my time deciding exactly how I want it because I still need to get my safe purchased, delivered and setup.
