Hot, Hotter, Roastin'
So take a look at my photo and you will see that we are in for another hot couple of days here in the valley. I cross referenced with Phoenix and we are going to be even hotter the next few days than they will, wtf!
Life Lessons
Shades
So I ordered a new pair of Oakley Gas Can sunglasses lenses that I am planning to swap out in the glasses that have my prescription lenses in them. It's a bummer that they just don't feel right and I don't want to do the back-n-forth trying to improve them since my adjustment is so minor. Basically just makes things more high definition looking.
This way I am not trashing them by sticking $300 glasses in a drawer only to buy another pair. Adding the lenses will still cost me $90 for the black iridium polarized and I am ok with that, small price to pay for another pair of sweet shades.
Remotes
So my kick ass $250 Logitech Harmony Touch remote is no longer as kick ass. It died on me Wednesday night. Cicely went to turn on the TV and Apple TV with it only to be presented with a white blank touch screen. Looked up the issue on the web and many others had the same problem and the only solution was to send it back to Logitech and get a new one sent out. Takes up to 14 days to get it back, no big deal.
I actually already purchased a different model and plan to sell the one they send me back on eBay for a killer price. This way it will at least cover the cost of the new one and at the same time give someone a good deal on the Harmony Touch. I just don't trust it since the dam thing died after only 6 months of very easy use.
Life Lessons
There are a lot of things we learn, take for granite or just plain despise throughout our day-to-day life. But there is one key thing that I will always hold close and pass on should I have the opportunity.
There are 2 rules that are the key to success in life....
1. Never reveal everything you know.
Cool Down Lap
Alright, that does it for today! Have a great Friday and weekend. My plan is to finish up the garage ceiling and get closer to putting a period at the end of the project that was supposed to "only" take me less than a 4 day weekend.
