Oh well nothing to get to worried or stressed out over, its much better than waiting until something, if anything, was to get worse then cause other issues or damage to internal parts of my digestive system. Honestly I am pretty confident that all will be great today and if its decided that I need the procedure to check into things a little deeper then no biggie. Worst case, and on the bright side it will be a day off of work right? Ha ha! I will try to add to the post later and fill in the blanks of what was decided to be the "next step".
**Update: So I am scheduled to go in for the procedure to have the camera look down my throat in a couple weeks, the 24th to be exact. Not really looking forward to it (who would) but if 2 1/2 hours of pain-in-the-butt gives me a lifetime of "worry-free" then it's worth every minute of the time. Most likely I will have more to report back on once the test is done.
Cubed Life Again
So it's Monday after a nice long weekend and I am happy to say that I made a ton of progress on the garage project, although I am tired and sore today. I guess the best way to look at it is that the tiredness and sore muscles means that I put a lot of effort into it and gave it my all. I have to say that it's looking awesome!
Over the long weekend at least one of my artist came in and got a lot of content dropped to me. This is great news although I am now even more buried than I was Wednesday of last week. Time to really busy so e butt this week and get as much content implemented as I can. It always feels as though we have a lot of time every game but the deadlines sneak up on us fast every single time. For example, my game is not set to ship until February of 2014, 7 months away. In game development terms like is like the equivalent of 7 weeks!
Well at least I have a full plate of work to walk into. Much better than being bored and sitting and waiting for stuff to come my way. That makes for a really long week which is not the way that I want to crack the seal on any week.
TV Time
We watched more Battlestar Galactica over the weekend and the show is still really good and getting even more interesting. I would liked to have been able to watch a ton more but I had to have some restraint so I would be able to get projects done and not hold Cicely up on hers.
Dexter was on last night and was awesome as usual and as expected. I am not sure what is going on with the newest character that has been introduced this season and without saying too much it really feels as though she is either setting him up or possibly trying to work him against her other patients. I dunno but it's a good one. Deb is on a downward spiral because of last seasons events so who knows what is next? Dunno but it's going to be a great final season!
New Shades
Picked up my new Oakley prescription eye glasses today and they are really cool. They are little weird looking at my iPhone screen because of the polarization they have, but otherwise I really like them. Just have to get use to them since I have never worn prescription sunglasses.
On "E"
I guess that will be it for today. It's a decent week as far as my calendars are looking which is nice. We will go check on mom Wednesday then once again on Saturday because my sister will be out of town. Otherwise it should be a pretty smooth week - "knock on wood"!
Hopefully it's the same for everyone else, and if not you will have a couple days to recoup in about 4 days and can try again next week!
Gotta look at the positive when all else fails! It's a bitch, I know :D
Photo: It's so friggin' hard to leave this face everyday to head into work!
