Unfortunately this time for me it only translated into waking up just enough that I was unable to fall back asleep until nearly 2:00 AM, only then to wake up at 5:00 AM because of Oggy deciding that it was the perfect time for "lickfest".
More Zzzz's
So around 2:30 this afternoon I decided to go back in and and lay on the bed for a few minutes and join Oggy. The window blinds were open, the sun was shining-in and it was warming up the room nicely and felt really good. Because of this I was able to fall back asleep for almost an hour, woo-hoo!
Anyone that knows me or has read any of my other posts knows that I do not like naps, I think they are a waste of time. But today I totally understood the reason why people take naps on their days off. It really helped to recharge me for the rest of the day. So yeah now I better understand the nap logic, or I am just getting old - either way it was worth it today.
Living Room Furniture
Yesterday after work we decided to head over to RC Willey again and remeasure a few of the sectional sofas that we liked. It ended up being another night of 3 hours at the store looking at stuff, measuring, pondering different ideas and stuff like that, holy shxt.
On the plus side I think we have finally made a decision and we are getting that particular one today. It's funny because after all of the back and forth and going to other stores the one we are getting happens to be the one we originally liked the very first day we started looking. Figures huh?
Had we known that and made the decision then we would have 6 hours of our life back, oh well at least we know we have dotted all of our "T's" and crossed all of our "I's' on choices. So this afternoon we drove all the way over to the other side of town and pulled the trigger on it.
The only real bummer is that it won't be delivered for nearly 2 months because it's such a popular model. That is okay though, it will give us some time to do some of the other things we wanted to do in the room first. Not to mention we had a coupon good only for today that will save us at least an additional $200 on the set, can't beat that.
Errands
We also decided while we were out to run some errands. So Cicely had to go past Michael's craft store, Ulta, Ross, and Old Navy to get a few things. This is the perfect time for me to stay in the car and work on my update of Angry Birds Star Wars edition since they added a bunch of levels.
Don't get me wrong I like running errands with Cicely. After-all she runs all over town to various motorsports shops with me to get parts when I am racing. But there is just something about cosmetic stores like Ulta and related that just doesn't do it for me, not to mention it makes Cicely feel rushed so she ends up forgetting stuff or not looking at new stuff. So sitting in the car is win-win for both of us.
As much of a pain as it sounds it's actually really nice to get shxt done today. I have to get some stuff at Home Depot for our new lamps that we bought a week ago at RC Willey, things like lightbulbs, extension cord, etc. Heck maybe cosmetics are more exciting than the things I needed to get done - but hey, my stuff has to be done also otherwise our lamps are worthless without bulbs right!

Take the time to enjoy a beautiful sunset once in awhile. My photo today does not do it justice, but the sunset was awesome this evening.
And with that, that is about all that has happened today and is worth writing about anyway. I think it's time to call it a day and continue on with my Saturday evening.
I have some shows on TiVo to watch tonight like Bering Sea Gold, Suits, Portlandia, and a few others that I was unable to watch this week. So I am thinking that will be the majority of my nights excitement and entertainment. Sounds great to me!
