Crazy Happenings

I cant believe all of the crazy stuff that is going on in the world right now and being reported in the news. Actually I can believe it, but its just weird to me how much of it is going on at the same time. Usually it seems that its all spread out a little bit more to keep our lives interesting and at the same time give us something to rabble about around the water cooler and coffee pot.

Ex Benedict

So it seems that the current pope is unable to fulfill his duties as assigned and will now hand over his responsibilities to another candidate. My understanding is that they are supposed to take that position and stay there only to be resigned upon death essentially. I could very well be wrong as I do not subscribe to any of those beliefs brain-washings or traditions cult like activities.

On top of it all I guess this has not happened since December 1294, 719 years ago, and his successor may, for the first time, be a non-European but rather a Latin American. To me it all seems like a get the heck out of dodge while the getting is good. I mean at 85 he is doing pretty darn good so I can only assume that it must be something much more disabling that we are not able to recognize from the outside looking in.

No matter its still all very strange. You can look deep into the theories behind it and find some pretty interesting stuff on both sides, from the extreme predictions to the bible thumpers.

I guess at the very least he is doing as any good Catholic would and is pulling out early! <smirk>

One Million Dollars

Even though California seems to be one of the states with the biggest financial problems in the United States, they have somehow managed to come up with a 1 million dollar reward for anyone that can provide information to the arrest of the ex LA officer Christopher Dorner. He has been on a rampage killing and threatening former colleagues and their families for several weeks now and it all seems a little fabricated.

There is more than enough television and internet news on the topic so I will not go into too much detail as Google would better suit your needs with up-to-date information. I just wanted to mention it for my own personal historical purposes.

Heck for all we know, he knows something and may be a scapegoat for bigger things and that may have triggered all of this - personally I think he has his agenda all over the place and is an ignorant asshole. What he is doing, if in fact "he" is real, is the worst approach for many reasons. As corrupt as "the system" tends to be, I think I would risk that option vs. a killing spree to prove a point and end up dead. At least then he has a bit of a fighting chance to prove something. This just makes him look like another crazy person with a firearm.

He released a manifesto on his Facebook page that spread like wildfire and I have read parts of it, and Cicely is currently going through it as well, its pretty dam long. There are some holes in it that make the whole thing feel like a means to an end to get a gun ban going. He mentions in the manifesto that he thinks its time for a gun bad, blah blah blah. I don't see any ex military or ex officer ever stating such things as his own words, sorry - just doesn't fit. Not to mention he is an Obama lover and so on, again none of it fits.

I think the reason it was so easy to put a 1 million dollar reward on the guy is because they will never have to pay it. The situation probably does not exist as stated and is some sort of extravagant setup. Say what you want because we will never know more than what the media tells us.

Turn The Page

There is so much in the news today I could spend hours jotting stuff down in this entry. By no means is this meant to be a media outlet for a potential reader, but a historical reference for myself one day. I think it's time to jump ship now and turn the page to see what the next chapter of my day looks like. I hope your Monday is going well, keep your pimp hand strong!
