Tacos & Desserts

Up and out early again today. This is becoming quite the trend for me, odd! I am much more of a "getting going at the crack of noon" kinda guy although I am rarely in bed past 7:00 AM.

Tacos

Today we have a big ass taco buffet provided by my studio. We use to have some sort of lunch provided every Thursday. Unfortunately peeps started to skip it more often than show up for it so it made for lots of wasted food which is a huge annoyance for me personally.

Anyway I won't get on that soapbox today, there are plenty of days in the year for that gripe. I am stoked, I loooove me some tacos especially when it's a "make your own" assembly line. Yum bitches!

Bake Off 2013

Today after our crunchy taco lunch we move on to our annual studio dessert day and bake off. Desserts will be judge by a panel of 4 judges with a specific criteria set for each item entered.

Cicely stayed up late making her Macarons in a pistachio flavor. She did not have time to make the other flavors as she had planned to do. Those being chocolate and chocolate espresso. Ok by me, that means she will make them this weekend and I can enjoy as many as my lil heart desires. Win-win if you ask me!

Well Cicely did not win, she somehow lost to: 1. bread pudding, 2. cheesecake and 3. brownies? Seems kinda basic to me that her's would have lost yet her's was one of the few, maybe even the only one that was entirely gone? No matter they were great and they are still my #1.

UPS

When I get home tonight I should have my deliveries from the hobby shop waiting for me. Both the new QR-1 quadcopter and my 4 NiMh batteries will be ready for weekend action. I am actually looking at ordering one more radio controlled vehicle. It is this cool rock crawler that is a racer as well thanks to the 2 part transmission, just like my Summit. It is already set-up for lipo batteries as well and come with a controller, charger and is essentially RTR (ready to run).

Clock Out

That is the majority of the action for today. I will be busier than a one legged dog trying to bury a bone on a marble floor but its all part of my current day-to-day that I just need to deal with. It will all be a thing of the past at some point so no reason loosing heartbeats over it now. Gotta keep reminding myself, we are not curing diseases people, I just wish everyone would remember that simple fact!
