Right now most of the manufactures are not making hardly any new accessories since they are not sure what laws new legislation may introduce. I have heard that a few of the factories have actually shut down those sections temporarily until they have more information.
As I have mentioned every time I talk about gun laws, it really sucks but my hope is that it will wake people up a little if nothing else. Unfortunately it's an expensive and disruptive way to do it, not to mention shxtting on our rights.
No Go
So we were unable to go to the gun show today. The lines were absolutely nuts to get in. On average we were being told that it was 3-4 hours to get to the ticket window and then another 1-2 hours to get into the actual show area.
As much as I want to look for certain items I needed to get, my time is much more valuable than 5+ hours of lines. So in place of it we are going to go have a nice breakfast again and see where the day takes us from there.
Squeeze In
After the no-go gun show Cicely and I decided to try a new breakfast place near home called Squeeze In. It's really a cool place and what's more is that I can get booze with breakfast - oh yeah, can you say "one awesome Bloody Mary"? I can and I did, yum! Cicely decided on a mimosa to go with her breakfast, nice choice - that's my girl!
Enough Is Enough
Time to quit typing and enjoy the first day of the official 3-day weekend. It's really nice outside so I plan to do a few more AR.Drone flights this afternoon to better hone my janky newB skills. I can drive a RC car or boat like a mo-fo but the helicopters and quad-copters are a bit harder, you need to really be smooth on the controls, I'm getting there.
