Electrical Tasks

Another great night of weekend sleep even though I stayed up till just after 2 AM once again. I don't know if it's the cooler not freezing nights lately or what, but I have been sleeping pretty good even though not very long - probably six hours on average.

Electrical

Even though it's not really considered electrical work in the manner most would think, most of my day today consisted of changing out old cracked rocker plate switches in the walls and rewiring them. I also had to remove a dimmer switch that did not work any longer in the manner we wanted it to.

I also switched out a bunch of the rocker plates in the garage to these cool diamond plate style. I have wanted to do that for a long time. Next I patched up some areas in the walls where the rocker plates were not big enough so you could see part of the drywall that had cracked a small amount. Feels good to have all of that stuff done that's for sure

Stick And Ball Sports

I have a pretty good idea that I am one of the few men that is not sitting at home drinking beer, eating chicken wings, beating and yelling at my wife, while watching Super Bowl XLVII. Actually I am just being a punk. I know the amount of people that abuse their wives is probably very small at best but it use to happen in the past. Enough in fact that they would have spousal abuse ads during the Super Bowl. I think that has calmed down in recent years, hopefully.

To be perfectly honest I am sick and tired of hearing about the damn game it's like a national holiday. Not to mention one of the players, Kaepernick went to our local college - UNR, and so that is all we hear about. It's like all of a sudden everyone is related to him or something.

I am sorry but that is so fucking stupid rushing down to the local Walmart to pick up a shirt - one that you never would have bought any other time. It is one thing to have him as your favorite player but it's more like people are jumping on a fanwagon and all of a sudden proud to be from Nevada where-as in the past they are always comparing it to California.

I say it's never going to be California, well who knows to be honest the way shxt is going down anymore, but if you like California so much then why don't you go back? And while I am at it same goes for all of the Mexicans that want their freedoms and to not be deported but at the same time don't want to go through the proper channels.

I say go for it, go through the proper channels and become a citizen otherwise go back to Mexico if you miss it so much. But quit trying to make the United States of America as much of a dirty piece of shxt as most of Mexico. Don't get me wrong I like going to certain parts of Mexico as it is beautiful, but I think you know what I mean, and if not you're too sensitive.

For example we had a family move in down the street; a Mexican family and there was 14 give or take of them living in one smaller sized two-story house not counting all of their kids. Just so they could pay the rent or mortgage.

That is all fine but when you have 10 or 15 cars out front plus some in the driveway and in the garage it gets a little ridiculous. Not to mention they would have garage sales about every 3 days which is not only ugly but very disruptive because it brings a lot of riffraff into the area constantly. They would have big parties and fights almost every other weekend then after all of this crap that we all put up with they could not pay for the house and did a midnight move-out so now it's sitting there like a piece of shit, with no-one living there and half of their crap still sitting inside the place. If you want to come to America then play by the same rules as everyone else or go back to where you came from.

Okay so I don't know how I got on that rampage, well I do, it just happens sometimes.

Powers Out

Ok I have to say that it's really funny that the power went out in half of the stadium in New Orleans and they have stopped the football game. I would think that they would be able to play in the dark, no? I guess that may be asking too much since they would have to keep score manually as well. It's jut funny that they are needing to keep the players relaxed because they don't understand what is going on. I know, it can make you lose momentum and its like giving the guys crap in NASCAR for not racing in the rain except on road courses in some series, I don't know I just found it funny that there seems to always be some drama every year for this final game.

Bass Face

I think that is more than enough for today. I have probably pissed off a good portion of my audience that would have or is currently reading my blog. Just because I touched on a few sensitive subjects it seems, Mexicans and a hugely popular American past time - football.

Oh well deal with it. Everyone loves to give me a hard time and call me a redneck because I like to watch NASCAR and motorcycle racing. Hey it is what it is right?

Rest Of The Day

For me all of my to-do's are done for this Sunday and so that means I can practice playing my bass for a little while or mess with my AR.Drone. I think I am going to choose to mess with my bass guitar and make some noise. You know, put on my "bass face" as Cicely would say I was doing. It is a little late to start messing with my AR.Drone since I have to update the RC controller to the traditional type of controller. Yeah I know it has been over 2 weeks and I have been slacking and have not done the upgrade yet and I need to. It's going to be awesome I just keep getting sidetracked.

Touchdown

If you are watching it, enjoy your Super Bowl XLVII and don't fret I hear Beyoncé is planning to actually sing her song this time and not do any lip-synching like she did for the presidential inauguration. That should make you happy whether your team is winning or not. Either way let's not drink and drive so you can be around to enjoy Super Bowl XLVIII.
