Mid-Week

The storm that was heading our way according to the weather guessers never showed up and has actually passed us by for now. I am ok with that as I am pretty much over the whole snow thing for the year and ready to get into spring and summer days. That way I can start complaining about how hot it is out.

Stuck In The Middle

Already middle of the week which is nice. We had to rush into work to make a morning meeting for my game but otherwise it should be a steady Wednesday without too much craziness added in for flavor.

Yesterday's movie was as expected, meaning it was "ok" and a way to pass time while chomping on popcorn and watching stuff get blow up. Hey on the plus side I did not bust any teeth on popcorn seeds, that is a good thing!

Traxxas Quadcopter

To help fuel my addiction for things that go fast, are robotic or fly I decided to order a new Traxxas QR-1 Quadcopter today to mess around with. It is about 1/3 the size of my AR.Drone so I can fly outside on super calm days (similar to the drone) but much easier in the garage or even in the house on crappy windy days.

I am also going to get some new NiMh 7-cell 8.4 volt batteries for my Traxxas Summit so I can drive it again after attempting to last weekend only to discover that the batteries were shot. My awesome wife is going to run down to the local hobby shop today while she is out and get me 4 new batteries, SWEET! If the weather cooperates I should be doing more driving and flying this weekend. I am already looking forward to it.

Well that is all of the excitement and news for today I think. I am still trying to wrap up my other game at work for the majority of the day which should keep me nice and busy. Then planning to hit the gym sometime this afternoon for my daily workout and move on to the second half of this Wednesday after.
