No Snow, Yet

Woke up bright and early because we have to get in to work for a UNITY class that one of the guys in my group is putting on for those of us not as experienced in the game engine. Should be a good class as usual and I am looking forward to it.

Guessed Wrong

Well all of the hype from the weather guessers about the "big storm" that would be hitting us today was a no-go. Basically it was really cold and windy last night as though a storm was just around the corner. But looking out this morning debunked it all because it was nothing more than hella' cold (yea I said hella').

I am actually happy that they were wrong because it saves us at least 30 minutes on our morning commute. Since we need to get in early for our class, one less obstacle is always appreciated.

Cizzle's Show

Tomorrow Cicely has a show at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino here in Reno for Diva's Day Out. It should be a really good show for her and it's looking as though it will have a great attendance because several of the radio stations have been advertising it non-stop as well as many other forms of media from word of mouth, giant highway-side digital displays, social media and print advertising. I know that she is super excited about it which is great.

Half Day

I think that is all for this entry. As we commuted in to the studio today the hills did look a little bit dark and storm-like so I may have to eat my words if we get dumped on with the white stuff later this afternoon.

At least we are only working a half day today so we can use up some of our DTO and not lose it because of the newly implemented DTO cap for 2013 and beyond. That translates into not having to commute home tonight with friggin' minivans and shxtty drivers.
