Okay, Rented & Watched

So a couple days ago I finally decided to break down and do a rental on YouTube of one of the most controversial and hyped up movies of 2014. I don't think I need to even type the name for you to know what movie it is, at least not for a couple months or maybe even a year or two. Like moth things it will be forgotten along with its craziness that went along with it.

Okay, get to the f'n point is what you are thinking - alright, will do.

The Interview

So there you have it, I was one of the one hundred thousand plus downloaded of this movie. I only assume that was the amount of downloads because of the YouTube hit count. Even if it was 1/2 that many at that time it's still not too bad considering that it was not even going to be released to theaters in the first place after all of the internet hacks and related that went along with it.

I mean there were even the threats of them doing shxt like was done on September 11th. Pretty damn big threats over a movie but whatever. I dropped down my $5.99 so Cicely and I could watch the movie in the comfort of our home instead of a sticky theater.

Basically the movie was nothing more than your typical teen or college age range movie. It had a couple of funny moments and I was surprised to see Eminem in the movie as well talking about being gay and shxt. I would not think that he would do something like that as much shxt as he probably already deals with on a routine basis.

All said and done the movie was one that you want to leave your brain at the door and just watch the movie for what it is and don't expect much more. Most people will know what is going to happen before it does just as we did. Again, check your brain at the start and just enjoy it for what it is versus what it is not or you will go nutty.

Carson

Cicely, me and Zoey are heading down to Carson today to visit mom for a little while and see how she is doing. It has been too long since our last visit and I don't like her not seeing Zoey and Zoey seeing her more. I do wish it was under different circumstances but these are the cards we were dealt so we need to play out the hand.

Thankfully it's a really nice day out and we don't have to worry about bad weather messing with our drive. At the same time if we were going to get some snow I would have liked it to be this week so we could play with Zoey in it, pull her in her new sled and be able to clear the driveway at our convenience rather than rush rush rush to get it done, drive to work in it and worry about accidents.

Does It

That will do it for today. Time to duct back and relax and enjoy the long ride to Carson. Pretty much blows an entire day when we go down because it's one hour there, plus stopping once for food and gas most times, then one hour back again stopping at times for food and we try to stay there and visit for an hour or so as well depending on her mood.

Sure that only adds up to say 3 1/2 hours but in reality the entire trip takes closer to 4 or 5 hours most visits. Doing so on a Sunday makes the weekend feel extra truncated and that sucks. Although as mentioned, it's important to me for Zoey to see her as well as mom to see all of us and us her.

Hopefully your Sunday is awesome. If not then hopefully it's relaxing and mellow if that was your plan. Most go back to work tomorrow so enjoy the time while you can. The new year will bring a lot of challenges and changes in the work side of my life so that will be interesting.
