Oh Christmas Tree

So this will be a nice and short entry today. I have spent the majority of the afternoon and into the evening working on trying to get my family photo library back into shape.

A complete and total pain in the ass to be 100% blatant. Basically I had been trying to delete one simple thing when all of a sudden I deleted everything in between.there is no way to go back once you delete this one item even though you can see everything within every category it assumes that it does not exist in that hierarchy any longer.

I guess my point is that it will be a total pain to get it all back together and I need to do it sooner than later. The photo structure and hierarchy has never been perfect but at least it worked and was usable for the most part. Now it's basically worthless.

Ah, one more thing on the to-do list for this month, that is what pisses me off the most.

New Tree

On the bright side Cicely decided to put up our Christmas tree today and we decided it looked too much like a Charlie Brown tree. So with a bit of a nudge and encouragement from me, her and Zoey went down to Home Depot and bought us a really cool 7 1/2 foot one.

She came home tonight and set it up, put on the lights and everything and it looks really good. We don't have ornaments on it yet so it looks a little naked and we are actually still up in the air whether we will put them on this year or not. Next year almost for sure because Zoey will better understand the what is going on.

See Ya

As mentioned that it's going to be a short entry so I am going to end it here. I was able to get a bike ride in on the trainer this evening which was nice as well as get my haircut although the haircut didn't happen until almost midnight.

One thing led to another and the day got away from us. Not to forget that I am still sick so that has been annoying as well with the stupid coughing and sleepiness that comes with it.

Hopefully this week I will be able to knock this cold out and move on with things. The last thing I want to do is deal with it over the entire Christmas holiday while we are off work.

Oh one last thing really quick this week is when my dad goes in to have surgery so I will have to check in and see how that goes on Wednesday. It's a fairly quick procedure and he should be done in no time and back to 100% shortly thereafter. Then there will be one more surgery in a couple weeks to finish it up and he should be good to go. More on that as those come up those days.
