Wow, that was kinda quick - it's the middle of the week and everything seems to be moving along pretty good so far. Always a good thing in between holidays, really anytime. I for one am going to try and focus on that being a continued trend.

Cold Bug

So I figured I better give an update on this cold that I caught a couple weeks back. Well it's still here haunting me every day. Mostly my sinuses, which I will take any day over my chest. When you have one of those nasty chest colds that make you cough like a seal all day it's not only painful and annoying but irritating to everyone around you.

I know that when I have someone at work that is 'yakkin' up a bone' for weeks on end it gets on your nerves fairly quickly. At the same time you want to stay as far away from that person as you can do you don't catch it and become the next annoying person in the game studio for weeks.

Anyway, several that have had this cold have told me that it tends to hang around for upwards of five weeks! Holy shxt does that suck ass! I think I am only on week 2 or 3 so if that is true I still have a ways to go, not cool!

Cubed

Not a whole lot going on at work other than, um, work. With all of the 2014 employee reviews being done and the 2015 MBO stuff out of the way everything has managed to calm down quite a bit for once. Calm before the storm possibly? I am not sure - hope not!

Otherwise

Other than that I am sorry to say that there's not much to rabble about today. It seems like more and more there is less and less to write about.

It's much more difficult to fill up white space every day with something interesting. You would think that with the holidays in front of us there would be tons going on and to talk about.

For now I will call it a day and move on with other things in front of me. Always a lot to do at work even when there is nothing to do it seems, ha!

Hopefully your week is going as planned or is at least manageable. I doubt it's a 'perfect week' unless you've managed to win the lottery, take a trip to a far off place or related - focus, you're almost have one more week behind you!

Photo: Best photo I could get of the fog yesterday. A multi-thousand dollar camera and high dollar mega-lens combination would have been the way to get a killer shot. Those mountains you see are actually smaller foothills. The mountains are hidden in the fog.
