Nine Month Check-Up, Windy

Today is supposed to be nothing but wind and more wind followed by gusts of wind. Sure I'm exaggerating a bit but it's to the point that they are canceling flights coming in, have all sorts of warnings and related around town - so it's crappy. I for one, as you know am not a fan of the wind whatsoever. Thinking back I can remember one or two days that I was glad it was a breezy and that was only because of the amount of smoke stuck in the valley from wildfires in California.

The Day

We have to get out of the house about two hours earlier today because Zoey has a 9 month checkup. I don't think that she will have to get any shots today thankfully but I don't know that for sure so I am still a little worried for her. She does awesome of course but it's still not something we look forward to obviously.

Because of the wind we planned to take Oggy into foggy daycare today as well but we decided to skip that and instead keep an even closer eye on him via our security cameras throughout the day.

Review

Today I should be having my year end review finally now that I have my entire team complete and my boss has the rest of his team finished. Plus he has had to sit in on several other reviews because of the two junior level managers that report to him needed a little guidance with their teams reviews and honestly they have only worked with them three or four months so it's difficult to get an accurate gauge of where they are in their performance and goals.

Anyway, I guess I will see how that goes and go forward with the rest of the day. Wind should let up this afternoon or on the flip-side blow in some rain or snow. Only time will tell so more on that tomorrow I suppose.
