Craft Fair

Today is the annual craft fair at work. Yesterday was the book fair to give people the opportunity to stock up on some gifts or a book for themselves. Did not see as busy as in past years. Obviously I think it's due to the fact that most people who read a lot do so on a Kindle or similar device. It is still great for kids though I guess and those that prefer the feeling and smell of a paper book in their hand.

Crafts

Anyway as mentioned it is the craft fair today and once again Cicely will be participating in it to try and sell some of her jewelry. She actually did pretty good last year and it was with her time doing the event. Generally it's fairly hit and miss because of the way people are in this town - very safe and afraid to "go big" even though they think they are when they wear a loud color shirt - pshaw!

Oh well I am just happy she is going to give it another go. I know she had a blast last year and will this year as well. She has a natural knack at making even the worst of scenarios into something great. Not that this will be a worst case event today, ha ha, just providing an example of her awesome attitude toward life's challenges and opportunities.

More Weather

Weather guessers are calling for mega snow starting later today and into the weekend. I am ok with that so long as it is gone by Monday when we have to commute to work. Cicely heard them say this morning that we should expect 2 feet of fresh snow. My guess is that will be in the higher elevations and we will only have 4 to 6" up to maybe a foot. I guess I had better dig out the snow blower as planned huh?

End Of The Line

Otherwise it is a pretty average day I think. I only have one meeting for a change and that will be to go over my new game assignment and meet the team I will be working with. Most I have worked with in the past so it should be a pretty smooth game - knock on wood for luck. Plus it is not scheduled to ship until December of 2014.

With under 9,000 hours slated to develop it, I am hoping that it will be completed sooner than that and we stay ahead of the schedule. Doing so always proves to be beneficial when big changes come up or at the last minute we find out it will be going to our annual gaming show in Vegas.

Photo: Really cool lights I think I am going to get for Zoey's room. That-is if they are not "break the bank" expensive. Even then I still might, it's for my kiddo after-all.
