Well it's finally the end of the weekend as the title of this post stated. Not a whole lot to talk about today, it was a nice mellow day to be perfectly honest. It was a great day to go ride because it was not terribly hot or windy, but a little of each remained.
I ended up only doing around 22 miles today with a smaller amount of climbing compared to yesterday. Today I ended up with about 700 feet of altitude change and climbing. Yesterday was closer to 1,700 feet and double the mileage.
Once done with my ride I came home and had some food so I would not deal with the sick and dizzy feeling I had yesterday from not having enough in my system for such a hard workout. I then rested for a little while and did some research and video watching before heading outside to mow the lawn, front and back.
TV Shows
So yesterday the Doctor is back on and we have yet to watch it yet. I am looking forward to watching it but a the same time its always tough getting use to a new doctor as well as only getting the one teaser episode and then having to wait all the way until Christmas to get that episode. It will then roll into the season. I thought they were working on the movie for this year but I have not heard anything else about it so maybe it was a rumor or it fell through?
I think tomorrow after work we can watch it while we eat dinner and then while we unwind for the evening. I think our other 2 shows are done for the season and wont be back on for a few months once again so it will be a good filler.
Anyway
I think that will do it for today, back to work tomorrow - obviously. It's not a short week this week but that would be cool if we were to get out a little early on Friday because it's a Friday before a holiday weekend. So at times we get let loose a little early to jump into the weekend and get home before the traffic starts.
I should have mentioned also that this is the week that the dam burners are around town. They come through our area on the way out to the desert for their annual festival. It sounded like it was a really cool event back in the early 90's when we actually wanted to go, but now I think its more of a corporate thing which is funny because that is what it's against.
I mean it's not, but because of the prices to get a ticket, the rules and so on it really is more corporate than people want to admit. But yea, it's super annoying with them all roaming through town going to the hardware stores, having their contraptions broken down on the side of the highway and so on. Then we will have to deal with them one last time before next year when they will all be coming back through on the way home this weekend after the week long event.
This is also the weekend for our big Best In The West Rib Cook-off, but I am not sure if we are going or not. If we do, we will just get some food and bail back home to eat. It's super crowded there so its not a lot of fun wandering around with the crowds especially now with Zoey we have to worry about someone ramming into us or her etc.

Photo: Had to get more of these. Dam things don't hold air once you break the seal it seems. Not cheap at $3.50 each. That means every flat on my bike costs $10 to $25 depending on the tube I put in and counting the air canister. Really need to upgrade to tubeless like my mountain bike.
