Studio Picnic

Today is the annual company picnic for our studio and it should be a lot of fun as usual. We normally all head over to the local park and have BBQ food, play tons of games and just hang out for the afternoon - at times getting to go home a little early to kick off the weekend before everyone else.

Today we are going to get some food, hang out and then Cicely is going to go back to daycare and pick up Zoey so she can attend the party as well. I was not sure if that was a good idea or not, but Cicely's manager said that it's fine so I assume that means there are others bringing their kids to the BBQ as well to hang out.

The biggest issue for me is the wind is complete crap today and blowing like crazy. Anyone that reads my entries or knows me also is well aware of my hatred for the wind. Well now at a BBQ we will have to deal with it and that just plain sucks! No matter it will be nice to hang out with the teams and spend the day doing something other than building games - not that doing so is a bad thing!

So with that I am cutting today's post short and heading out to the picnic to enjoy the time away from work, computers and so on for a few hours. I hope your Friday is great and if you are in the area, stop by and grab a burger, hot dog or some ribs and of course something cold to wash it down.
