Early Day Today

Super early start to the day today so Cicely could get into the game studio ahead of everyone else and get some of her content setup and out of her hair. The unfortunate part is that as much as it seemed to help it also managed to hurt a little too. Why? How? Well that is just the nature of the business unfortunately and there is really nothing we can do about it, well short of quitting the job I suppose. That is something that I would advise her not to do, it would be difficult for her to find another job that pays her this well from the start.

Not to mention that I know deep down she does like working there other than weeks or projects like this that tend to spoil everything else - get you all worked up and so on. It does not take much when developing games that's for sure! Especially when you have people running all over you or checking in on you far too often. It's like get the fuck out of my hair would ya?

Eventually they do and they get the idea although usually by then you are so sick of the project that you just want it out of your hair no matter the problems or problems with the team. There will always be differences  like that I think.

Other than that it was a really nice day out and I was lucky enough to get to wear shorts again today and I plan to do the same tomorrow. The weekend is supposed to be nice as well and the fact that it's a 3 day weekend is all the better for everyone. The only real downside to that is people will start partying early or drive stupid, well more stupid and ignorant than usual and end up hurting someone that is Innocent and has or had not had a drop to drink.

Valentines day is also this Saturday which seemed to really come up on us fast this year. Cicely, as per usual, does not want anything unless we go to get food for breakfast or more like brunch or have breakfast for dinner.

Anyway enough about all of that - I am getting super tired, have to wake up super early again tomorrow and based on the time right now I am not looking to get very much sleep at all. Last night I think I ended up getting just over 5 hours which is not "too bad" thought much less than I would prefer to get, especially on a work night.
