The photo I picked for today is of an area near my cubical that gives me the urge to turn, twist, plug-in or inspect "something" each and every-time I walk past it, no joke! I have managed to resist any urges to touch it each and every time, but the overall temptation is far from gone.
I am told its purpose has to do with sewage and waste of all things. That is all well and good but the problem is that I can't help but to see it as an unintentional art installment, obviously its nothing of the sort.
The different pipes, all varying in size linked between gauges with keys, knobs and wheels, peaks my curiosity. Some are padlocked, others keyed all with some sort of tag in between. Warnings and labels, instructions with tables to measure the amount of . . Shxt? . . Pressure? . . Maybe? . . I dunno.
Although interesting to me, probably gross or uninteresting to most. I took the photo a few weeks back and have been meaning to post it ever since, I just keep spacing it. I totally dig discovering the flip-side of things, everyday geocaches of sorts, meant for something entirely different. For me it makes the day-to-day that much more interesting.
Anyway, it's my Friday - woot! We start our vacation tomorrow but not our trip to the Caribbean until early Saturday morning when we catch our first flight outta Reno to Dallas, Texas. Once in Dallas our agenda holds nothing more than sitting at the bar until our next flight is ready to transport us to the opposite side of the U.S. from where we started, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
We will hang out in Florida for a night, hopefully meeting up with Cicely's sister, before venturing off to white sand beaches, crystal clear water, the sound of steel drums and of course "more rum, more fun".
I'm anxious to get away, anticipating it will refresh both my body and mind!
