Happy Halloween

Today at work we are having our Studio 1A Halloween costume and cube decoration contest. Then tonight it's time to give out goodies to the kiddos of the neighborhood who will be going house-to-house as ghosts, goblins, zombies and super hero's. At work the costume contest was sweet! (sorry no pix). We had Walter White from Breaking Bad, Bat Woman, a Stormtrooper, a Mad Hatter, an Anime character, an Abominable snowman snow-woman and more. Really cool, creative costumes to say the least!

We were supposed to have the kids from the Child Garden, which is our on-site daycare facility I refer to as "The Germ Garden" come over to our studio and trick or treat. Unfortunately they had an outbreak of the norovirus so they were not allowed to leave to come over to the main building and risk getting all of us sick. Fine-by-me to be honest, but they would have had such a blast, and so would have we handing out treats!

Last year at home we handed out full size Snickers and Hershey bars, something I have always wanted to do and it was awesome! The look on the younger trick-or-treater faces when that giant sugary goodness wouldn't even fit into their plastic pumpkin candy vessel was great! Unfortunately it was pretty expensive to hand out that many full size bars so this year we switched back to the normal trick or treat size candies. I don't think they will mind as long as they get a sugary goodie added to their stash!

Meetings mostly this morning then this evening more rush-rush to-do's before we head off on vacation Saturday. All-in-all a nice Wednesday. Usually Wednesdays are busy and I do more running around than anything else so its great when I can sit in my cube and work on games.

Watch out for black cats crossing your path . . . . B O O !
