Couch Tater

By the time we left work last night, ran some errands and actually walked in the front door it was too late to do much of anything I would consider productive. Activities like practicing bass guitar is always high on my list to decompress from a long day or diving in and learning more about UNITY would be a decent choice, unfortunately at 9:00 in the evening my retention rate would be low and I would be wasting my time.

Reading a book would be relaxing most evenings, but being tired I would be lucky to last 10 minutes without an iPad face-palm. I am currently reading (among others) Anarchy Evolution by Greg Gaffin, a professor at UCLA and singer for one of my favorite bands Bad Religion. It takes some concentration and re-reading of pages so I don't want to blast through it, eyes half opened.

What did I do instead? I grew roots from my ass deep into the couch, enjoyed a Jack In The Box burger (something I have not done in over 2+ years) and watched the new episode of Sons of Anarchy. Sons was awesome as anticipated and did not disappoint. Tons of crazy biker violence and set-ups for upcoming episodes, cant wait!

I also finished watching The Chosen One, which I had started earlier in the week to pass some time before dinner. It was barely worth the 2 star rating I gave it on Netflix. Really I was being generous since one of my favorite actors, Steve Buscemi had a part in it, albeit not a very good one. Unless you are a fan of Buscemi, or in the mood for a 2 star 'ish movie I would use that 1 hour and 40 minutes for any other item on your to-do list.

Yep, that is about as exciting as it's going to get for today's entry. Even though it's the middle of the week there is not much to ramble about, the above is borderline interesting at best as it is. Not that I care as I will often mention. My posts are for me, as a personal arrangement of words to reflect and appreciate the little things in my day-to-day, yea and to bitch too! For example: It was supposed to be windy today with crazy gusts to make it that much more annoying. I could have talked about my hatred for the wind for a solid 2 or 3 paragraphs, fuckin' hate the wind. Whew! It's not even windy and I am getting worked up thinking about it!
